Questions & Myths

Let's clear
things up.

A Clarity Call is a 15-minute, $50 conversation designed to help you understand why you may be feeling off, what might be missing in your current care, and whether working with Katie makes sense for you. It's not a medical visit, diagnosis, or sales call — just an honest, judgment-free conversation. The $50 is applied toward your Initial Consult if you decide to move forward within 30 days.
Bioidentical doesn't mean "risky" or "unproven" — it means the hormone matches what your body already makes. Like any medical treatment, hormone therapy has risks and benefits, and outcomes depend far more on the person, dosing, and monitoring than the label alone.

When used appropriately, hormone therapy is supported by a strong body of evidence. Some options are commercially available, while others are compounded to allow for more personalized care.

Katie takes an individualized, evidence-informed approach — because hormone therapy should be tailored, not templated.
"Normal" lab ranges are designed to catch disease — not to optimize how you feel. Many people with significant symptoms fall within the "normal" reference range but are far from their personal optimal. Katie takes a holistic approach, combining your lab results with your symptoms, history, and how you feel day-to-day to build a complete picture of your hormonal health.
Not at all. Hormonal changes don't just happen at menopause — and they don't just affect women.

Katie works with both men and women navigating symptoms related to hormone shifts, including PMS/PMDD, PCOS, perimenopause, postpartum changes, thyroid conditions, and testosterone decline.

If something feels off, it's worth exploring.
Membership covers all follow-up appointment fees (virtual and in-office), your testosterone prescription/product, monthly B12 injections, ongoing labs to monitor your treatment, prescription management, and direct access to Katie. Pellet insertions are available at an additional cost ($100 for women, $150 for men, every 4–6 months).
There's no one-size-fits-all timeline. Some people feel early improvements within days, but meaningful, consistent changes often take several weeks to a few months.

This isn't an overnight fix — and it's not meant to be. The goal is steady, sustainable progress that actually lasts. Katie will monitor, adjust, and personalize as you go.
Not necessarily. The duration of therapy depends on your individual situation, goals, and how your body responds. Some patients choose to continue long-term for ongoing quality-of-life and potential health benefits, while others may adjust or discontinue treatment over time.

Hormone therapy isn't a decision made once and left unchanged. Katie works with you along the way to regularly reassess your needs and make thoughtful, collaborative decisions about your care — so you can choose what feels right for you at each stage.
This care operates outside of insurance, which allows Katie to spend more time with each patient and provide a more personalized approach to care without the limitations of insurance-based models.

If prescribed, non-testosterone products (Estradiol, Progesterone, Thyroid medications) are prescribed to your local retail pharmacy and may be covered by your insurance plan.

HSA and FSA funds can typically be used, depending on your individual plan.
No — while many people initially seek care for symptoms like fatigue, poor sleep, mood changes, or weight struggles, hormone therapy can support more than just how you feel day to day.

Hormones play a role in bone health, muscle mass, metabolic function, and overall quality of life as we age. For some patients, treatment is focused on symptom relief; for others, it's also about supporting long-term health and function.

Katie takes an individualized, evidence-informed approach — helping you weigh both symptom improvement and broader health considerations when deciding what's right for you.

You don't have to keep
pushing through it.

The next step isn't treatment — it's clarity.
